Snowplow Sam
(Basic 1, ages 3-5)
This Learn to Skate USA program is designed for our youngest skaters, ages 3-5. We start by getting these young skaters comfortable with the ice and then start introducing them to the “basic skills” of the sport. Skaters will have a 30-minute group lesson each week to learn skating basics where each class concentrates specifically on these young skaters and how they learn.
Necessary equipment:
- Proper fit and lacing of ice skates
- Appropriate loose-fitting but warm attire (mittens a must)
- A skating safety helmet is strongly recommended
Skating safety helmets are not provided at the rink, you must bring your own.
